Most rejections fall into one of these buckets. The rejection email tells you which.
Misleading claim
"Lose 30 pounds in a week" — anything that's not verifiable, not realistic, or implies a result you can't promise. Rewrite without the unsupported claim.
Leading question (Premium/Research)
"Don't you think our coffee is better?" — assumes the answer. Rewrite as neutral: "How would you compare our coffee to brand X?"
PII collection (Premium/Research)
Asking for phone, email, address, name — anything that identifies the viewer. The viewer is anonymous to you; ask demographic patterns, not contact info.
Hidden small print
A claim in the headline ("free shipping") with disqualifying conditions in tiny CTA-area text. The qualifier needs the same visual weight as the claim, or the qualifier needs to come out.
Off-brand or impersonating
Using another brand's logo, name, or trade dress. Even unintentional copycat creative gets flagged.
Restricted category violation
Selling something in a regulated category (alcohol, finance, cannabis) without the proper documentation on file. Submit the docs through support and we re-review.
Off destination
The CTA URL goes somewhere different than what the Nasq implies. "Shop coffee" linking to an email signup is a rejection.
To resubmit:
- Open the rejected campaign.
- Click Edit and resubmit.
- Make the change(s) the email called out.
- Submit again.
Resubmissions usually clear within an hour because we already reviewed the rest. Persistent issues — multiple rejections on the same theme — get a human reviewer's note explaining the underlying standard so you can stop hitting it.
