Research Nasqs use the same question builder as Premium with the same question types. The rules are very similar — same admin review standards, same character limits, same flow — with a couple of differences.

Volume. Research Nasqs are designed to be shorter. The cap is 5 questions instead of Premium's 8. Most Research Nasqs run 3–4 questions.

Tier reach. Available at Silver+ instead of Gold+. That means a broader, less-verified audience. Calibrate your questions accordingly:

  • Don't assume specialist knowledge.
  • Simpler choice questions outperform long-form ranking on Silver pools.
  • Free text gets shorter, less considered answers from Silver than from Onyx.

Per-completion payout. Typically lower than Premium. Set it fairly for the time it takes. A 3-question Research Nasq paying $1.50 finds plenty of takers; the same Nasq paying $0.20 doesn't.

Goal alignment. Research Nasqs are for lightweight profiling and first-touch insight. Premium Nasqs are for high-intent decisions and deeper data. Trying to use Research for high-stakes research is the wrong tool — the data is real but the depth is calibrated for a lower-stakes session.

Research Nasqs go through admin review the same way Premium does. See Admin review.
