The Nasq composer offers eight background styles and a small set of texture overlays.

Background styles:

  • Solid — one color, your pick.
  • Linear gradient — two colors fading in a direction.
  • Radial gradient — two colors fading from a center point.
  • Conic gradient — colors sweeping around a point (subtle, often unnoticed but adds polish).
  • Soft blur — a duotone blur that feels editorial.
  • Geometric — abstract shapes in your chosen color.
  • Wash — a single hue with subtle variation across the area.
  • Image — your own background image (static, no zoom/pan animation in Nasqs).

Textures layer on top: subtle grain, lines, dots, weave. They're optional. They add visual depth without competing for attention.

A few principles:

  • Match the background to your brand. A bright corporate orange that doesn't appear anywhere else in your brand will feel off.
  • Don't put colored text on a busy background. Solid or wash with a clean typeface reads best.
  • The CTA button automatically picks a contrast-safe color against your background. You don't have to think about CTA visibility.
  • Animation in the background (breath, pulse) is subtle by design. Big motion competes with content the viewer was about to consume.
