Your bio sits under your Vault Name on your Vault. It's usually the first thing a new visitor reads, and on Zayvay it does a lot of work because there are no thumbnails, no follower counts, no proof-of-popularity signals. Your bio is the proof.
A few things that work:
- Plain. Tell people what you make and why. Two or three sentences.
- Specific. "I write essays on small-town politics" beats "I'm a writer."
- Honest about what's here. If your Vault is mostly podcasts, say that.
Things that don't:
- Lists of platforms you're also on. Send people to your Zayvay Vault, not away from it.
- Marketing speak.
- Apologies for your output schedule.
Keep it under 500 characters. There's no enforced limit, but anything longer gets scrolled past.
You can edit your bio any time from Vault Options in Forge. Changes are live the moment you save.
