Every Zayvay account has two names:

  • Real name — your actual first and last name. Required at signup. Used for identity verification, payouts, and tax documents.
  • Display name — what creators see when you leave an Echo or appear on their viewer list. Optional. Defaults to your real first name if you don't set one.

Your real name is never visible to creators or other viewers. Even brands paying for disclosed demographics don't see your name — they see consented data points (age, ZIP, etc.) tied to an anonymous ID.

You can change your display name any time from your profile. Changing your real name requires submitting documents, since it's tied to identity verification — open a ticket if you need to update it (legal name change, etc.).

Zayvay's policy is real-name-first: creators see your display name, but the platform always knows who you really are. That keeps the place honest without dragging your real name across the screen everywhere.
