Stripe Connect is how money from Drops, Subscriptions, and creator payouts moves from viewers to you. You set it up once.
From Settings → Payouts in Forge, click Connect Stripe. You'll be handed off to Stripe's onboarding flow. You'll provide:
- Your business or individual tax info.
- A bank account for payouts.
- A debit card (optional, for instant payouts).
Stripe asks for more if you're outside the US — VAT info, business registration, etc. depending on your country.
A few things to know:
- Zayvay uses Stripe Connect Express. You manage your bank account, payout schedule, and tax forms from Stripe's dashboard, not Forge.
- Your Stripe Express account is yours, not Zayvay's. If you leave Zayvay, the account stays with you.
- The link between your Forge account and your Stripe account is one-time — you can't accidentally connect the wrong Stripe account.
- W-9 / W-8BEN is part of Stripe's onboarding. 1099s come from Stripe at year-end. See Tax forms.
Once connected, you can immediately start selling Drops and Subscriptions. Brand revenue is also routed here.
If you ever need to change your bank account, do it from your Stripe Express dashboard — not Forge. The change propagates automatically.
