If you're based in the US and earned at least the IRS threshold ($600 in a calendar year as of 2026), Zayvay's payment partners issue a 1099-NEC.

How it works:

  • Stripe Connect handles 1099s for Drop and Subscription earnings.
  • Dots handles 1099s for Premium Nasq attribution payouts that flow through their network.
  • Stripe Connect and Dots both have their own W-9 step during your initial KYC. If you skipped it, they'll prompt you when you're approaching the threshold.

Forms are issued by January 31 for the previous tax year. You'll get them by email and they're also available to download in your Stripe and Dots dashboards.

Outside the US:

  • W-8BEN handled by the same partner that paid you. You complete it once during onboarding.
  • Withholding and reporting depend on your country's tax treaty with the US.

A few notes:

  • Zayvay does not provide tax advice. We provide the forms; what you do with them is between you and a tax professional.
  • Storage bills you've paid are a business expense if you treat your Zayvay earnings as business income. Save the invoices.
  • Lifetime earnings on your Forge dashboard always match the sum of your 1099s for the year. If they don't, submit a ticket — we'll reconcile.
