Subscriptions are monthly recurring tiers you define. Viewers pick a tier, pay monthly, and get whatever you've set as the benefit — subscriber-only Canvases, ad-free reading, early access, private podcast feed, anything.
Set up subscriptions in Subscriptions in Forge:
- Create one or more tiers.
- Set the monthly price per tier (in USD).
- Pick what each tier unlocks — specific Canvases, collections, or "everything subscriber-only".
- Add a short description.
Pricing tips:
- Most successful creator subscriptions on Zayvay sit between $3 and $15 per month.
- Multi-tier ($5, $10, $25) outperforms a single tier because viewers self-select.
- Annual pricing isn't supported yet. Coming.
Earnings:
- Charges happen via Stripe Connect, directly to your account.
- Zayvay takes 5%. Stripe takes their processing fee.
- Net lands on your USD balance the same day.
Cancellations:
- Viewers can cancel from their dashboard at any time.
- They keep access until the end of the period they paid for.
- No partial refunds by default — but you can issue one from the subscriber's record in Forge if you want.
