Zayvay takes a 5% fee on direct viewer payments — Drops and Subscriptions.

The math is simple. A viewer pays $10. Zayvay takes $0.50. You get $9.50 (less Stripe processing fees, which Stripe takes separately on its side — typically about 2.9% + $0.30).

So a $10 Drop nets you roughly $9.20 once everyone's taken their cut.

A few notes:

  • The 5% is applied at the moment of charge, in real time. You don't see a separate Zayvay invoice — it's already netted out.
  • Stripe processing fees go to Stripe, not Zayvay. They're standard payment-processor fees and we don't add to them.
  • Brand Nasq revenue has the platform cost baked into Zayvay's CPM. No separate 5% is taken from your share.
  • Storage costs are billed separately, monthly, on a different cycle. See The storage bill.

We picked 5% because it's significantly lower than what most platforms charge (Patreon takes 8-12%, Substack takes 10%, YouTube takes 45% on memberships). The lower fee is part of the deal.
