A Drop is a one-time payment from a viewer. The viewer picks a tier (or enters a custom amount), pays through Stripe, and you have the money the same day.

Set up Drop tiers in Drops in Forge:

  • Define one or more preset amounts ($5, $10, $25 — whatever you like).
  • Add a short title and description per tier.
  • Optionally attach a reward — a downloadable file, a thank-you note, an unlock for a specific Canvas.
  • Toggle whether viewers can enter a custom amount.

Earnings:

  • Charge happens immediately via Stripe Connect.
  • Zayvay takes 5%. Stripe takes processing fees.
  • Net lands on your USD balance the same day.

Refunds:

  • Drops are one-time and final by default.
  • A viewer can request a refund through support; you can also issue one from the Drop record in Forge if a viewer reaches out directly.
  • Honest mistakes (wrong tier, double-click, etc.) are usually worth refunding without question. Bad faith requests don't deserve the same.

Drops are a low-friction way for viewers to thank you for one specific piece, or kick in support after something hit them. They're not a substitute for subscriptions — they're a different rail with a different feel.
