On any Canvas, you can toggle an Explicit flag. Set it for content that contains strong language, sexual themes, graphic violence, or other material that's not appropriate for every audience.

What the flag does:

  • Brands who opted out of explicit content won't run Nasqs on that Canvas. You still earn from brand-safe Nasqs.
  • Viewers under 18 can't access the Canvas at all — junior accounts have explicit content blocked by default and that block can't be turned off.
  • An "Explicit" badge shows next to the Canvas title on your Vault.

What it doesn't do:

  • It doesn't reduce your earnings on average. There's a smaller pool of brand-safe brands you can attract, but the ones who target adult-skewing audiences pay well.
  • It doesn't affect Echoes, subscriptions, or anything social.

You can change the flag at any time. Toggling it off doesn't remove the Canvas — it just opens the brand pool again for future Nasqs.

When in doubt, mark it. The downside of a missed explicit flag (a brand showing up next to content they didn't want to be near) is worse than the downside of a flagged Canvas that maybe didn't need it.
