You can reply privately to any Echo on your work. The reply goes only to the viewer who left it.

To reply, open the Echo from the Canvas Echoes panel in Forge. Type your message and hit send. That's it — no formatting toolbar, no attachments, just a short text reply.

The viewer sees it in their dashboard under Echoes. They can reply back, which opens a small thread between the two of you.

A few guidelines:

  • Keep it short. The viewer didn't ask a question — they reacted. Acknowledging that is enough.
  • Don't pitch them on anything. No "thanks, check out my new merch." If you have to sell something to them, it doesn't belong in an Echo reply.
  • Don't reply to every Echo. The platform isn't built for it, and viewers don't expect it.

Echo replies are subject to platform rules like anything else. If a creator uses replies to harass a viewer, the viewer can mute future replies from you, and we'll remove the privilege if it's repeated.

To turn replies off entirely for one Canvas, edit the Canvas and toggle Allow Echo replies. Existing replies aren't affected.
