Two different actions.

Unpublish keeps the Canvas in Forge as a draft. It disappears from your Vault, stops earning brand revenue, and stops being accessible to viewers. You can republish any time and the same URL works again.

Delete removes the Canvas entirely from Forge. The media file is purged from storage. Echoes, view records, and revenue history are kept for accounting but no longer attached to a viewable Canvas.

To unpublish: open the Canvas, click Unpublish in the top-right menu.

To delete: open the Canvas, click Delete (same menu). You'll be asked to confirm — deletion is permanent.

If your Canvas is in a Collection or in The Cut, unpublishing or deleting also removes it from those. Nothing else on your Vault is affected.

A few gotchas:

  • Unpublishing a Canvas with an active subscription tier attached doesn't refund subscribers — they're still paying for everything else on that tier.
  • Deleting a Canvas viewers have Echoed leaves their Echoes in their dashboard history as "deleted Canvas".
  • Past brand revenue from a deleted Canvas isn't clawed back. It's already yours.
