Receipts are confirmation records for individual transactions. Invoices are formal documents for accounting; receipts are confirmation that a charge happened.
Every top-up generates:
- An emailed receipt to your billing email (and any CC'd finance addresses), immediately at charge.
- A PDF receipt available in Billing → Transactions.
- A Stripe receipt sent independently by Stripe, with the same charge details.
What's on a receipt:
- Date and time.
- Amount.
- Payment method (last 4 digits).
- Brand the top-up is for.
- Stripe transaction ID for reconciliation.
A receipt is not the same as an invoice. If your finance team needs a document with business name, tax ID, and tax breakdown, point them to the invoice — not the receipt.
For tracking spend per campaign rather than per top-up, use the campaign dashboard's spend history. Receipts are at the top-up level, not the campaign level — there isn't a separate receipt for each Nasq served because there's no card charge for each Nasq served (the wallet is already funded).
