By default, campaigns drain budget as fast as eligible viewers show up. For a $10,000 campaign with broad targeting, that might be a single day. For a narrow campaign, it might take weeks.
Set a daily cap to spread the budget out. From the campaign wizard or from a live campaign's settings, set a max daily spend in USD.
What happens:
- Once daily spend hits the cap, your Nasq stops serving for the rest of the day.
- The next day at midnight UTC, serving resumes.
- The total budget still caps the campaign — daily caps just smooth the timeline.
When to use daily pacing:
- You want consistent presence across a multi-week window, not a burst at the start.
- You're matching media to a launch schedule that has specific dates.
- You're running multiple parallel campaigns and want to keep them from competing too aggressively in the same window.
When to skip it:
- You want maximum reach as fast as possible (product launch day, breaking news moment).
- Your targeting is narrow enough that daily caps would never be hit anyway.
Daily caps don't change CPM or completion quality. They just spread the spend. Use them as a scheduling tool, not a quality tool.
