The Exclude explicit content toggle in the campaign wizard controls whether your Nasq can appear next to Canvases creators have marked explicit.

When the toggle is on:

  • Your Nasq won't serve on any Canvas with an Explicit flag.
  • A creator's Vault might still be eligible — only individual Canvases marked explicit are excluded, not the whole Vault.
  • This applies whether you're targeting that creator's category or not.

When the toggle is off:

  • Your Nasq can appear on any Canvas, explicit or not, that matches your other targeting.

What "explicit" covers: strong language, sexual themes, graphic violence, drugs, anything the creator flagged as not appropriate for every audience. The flag is set by the creator on a per-Canvas basis.

Most brands keep exclude-explicit on as a default. Brands whose product is for adult audiences (alcohol, adult entertainment, some cannabis products) turn it off intentionally — explicit content often correlates with engaged adult viewership.

The exclusion is also applied to brand-level settings. In Brand → Default exclusions, set exclude-explicit as your default for every new campaign. You can still override per campaign.
