Interest targeting reaches viewers by the topics they chose for themselves. When someone joins Zayvay they pick the subjects they care about — Pets & Animals, Food & Drink, Technology, and so on. Interest targeting matches on those declarations.
This is different from creator category. Category is about the creator your Nasq sits next to; interest is about the viewer in front of it. Someone can be watching a travel creator while being, by their own account, a devoted pet owner — and interest targeting is how you reach the pet owner.
Because it's a direct, self-declared signal, it's the strongest intent Zayvay offers, and it carries the highest match value. Nothing here is inferred from browsing — the viewer said yes.
How it works
Pick an interest in the campaign wizard. Like category, it's a preference, not a wall:
- A viewer who selected that interest is worth more to you, so your Nasq wins in front of them more often — and you pay the higher rate only on those matched impressions.
- A viewer who didn't still sees your Nasq compete at the base rate. You keep full reach; matched viewers just cost more and win more.
When a viewer matches on both their interest and the creator's category, the two stack — that's your best-fit impression, and it's priced and prioritized accordingly.
Exclusive audiences
If you want only viewers with a given interest — a pure audience, nothing else — turn on the exclusive toggle next to the interest. That flips it from a preference into a hard filter: viewers without the interest are removed from your pool entirely.
Exclusivity carries a premium (currently a surcharge on every completion), for two reasons:
- Every impression is a confirmed match, so it's inherently higher-value.
- You're buying scarcity — a narrower, purer audience than the open network.
The live audience estimate in the wizard shrinks to show your true exclusive reach, so you can see the trade before you commit. Exclusive audiences are smaller by design; if the estimate drops below a floor, widen the interest or turn exclusivity off.
