To pause a live campaign, open it in your dashboard and click Pause. The campaign stops serving Nasqs within minutes. The remaining budget is preserved.

To resume, click Resume. Serving picks back up where it left off.

A few things to know:

  • Pausing doesn't affect already-served Nasqs. Impressions and completions in your results stay there.
  • Pausing doesn't refund anything. Spent budget stays spent.
  • A paused campaign with a hard end date is still subject to that date — if the end date passes while paused, the campaign ends without resuming.
  • Pausing is reversible as many times as you want. There's no penalty.

When pausing is the right call:

  • You've spotted a problem with your creative and want to fix it before more spend goes through.
  • A news event makes your messaging temporarily inappropriate (recall, controversy, time-sensitive context).
  • You want to A/B test by swapping creative — pause, edit, resume.
  • You're done for now but might want to resume later.

If you're done permanently, end the campaign instead. Ended campaigns can't be resumed; pause keeps the door open.
