Your Vault Name (your stage name) can be changed any time from Vault Options in Forge.

What changes:

  • The name on top of your Vault updates immediately.
  • The Directory listing updates within an hour.
  • Any place your name appears in Forge updates.

What doesn't change:

  • Your Vault URL. Your slug stays the same unless you also change that.
  • Your legal name on your profile (it never matched your Vault Name anyway).
  • Existing links viewers have shared, since those use the slug, not the name.

A few things worth knowing:

  • Vault Name is restricted to the platform's allowed character set (no slurs, no impersonation of real people, no Zayvay-reserved words).
  • Vault Name changes are rate-limited: once per 24 hours.
  • Subscribers and Drop senders see the new Vault Name in their dashboard for past transactions — receipts always reflect the current name, not the name at time of purchase.
