Your Vault slug — the part after vault.zayvay.com/ — can be changed, but it's a bigger deal than changing your Vault Name. Read this before doing it.
From Vault Options → Slug, type the new slug. Zayvay checks it's available and follows the slug rules (lowercase, hyphens, no reserved words).
What happens when you confirm:
- The new slug is live immediately.
- The old slug redirects to the new one for 180 days. After that, the old URL stops working.
- Subscribers, Drop senders, and active sessions all keep working — they migrate to the new URL silently.
- Bookmarks, links in social media, links in podcast feeds, links anyone else has saved — all redirect for 180 days.
What you should do after:
- Update any external link to your Vault (your other social profiles, your email signature, podcast show notes, anywhere you've shared the URL).
- If you have an RSS-imported podcast on Zayvay, your podcast feed URL changes too. Update wherever you've shared that feed.
Slug changes are rate-limited: once per 30 days. You can't ping-pong between names.
If you're starting over completely and need a fresh slug, this is the path. If you just want a different stage name, leave the slug alone and only change the Vault Name.
