Right now we're opening Vaults to creators in small batches, so becoming a creator starts with a short application.
1. Apply. Go to zayvay.com/creator-signup and tell us:
- Your name.
- A working email address.
- Where you're based.
- A link to your work — YouTube, a podcast, a site, anywhere we can see what you do.
- A line or two on what you make.
You'll also confirm you've read the Creator Beta Terms. The short version: you own everything you publish, any music you use needs a documented license you can show us, Zayvay is in beta so the terms can change, and no money is paid out during the beta — provisional balances are wiped when it ends.
2. We review it. Every application is read by a person, not a filter. There's nothing else for you to do at this step.
3. You get an invite. If it's a fit, we email you an invite link. Click it and your creator account is created on the spot — no separate password or second sign-up. You land straight in Forge, the workspace where you'll run everything.
4. Name your Vault. In Forge you'll pick your Vault name and one to three categories. That takes about a minute.
5. Go live. Forge then shows a short checklist: publish your first Canvas, add it to your Vault layout, and preview your Vault. Publishing a Canvas on its own doesn't put it on your public Vault — you have to place it in a section. The checklist walks you through it.
Before you can earn
To turn on paid features (Drops, Subscriptions, brand campaigns) you'll also need:
- Identity verification through Dots. See Identity verification.
- Stripe Connect, so money can reach you. See Stripe Connect setup.
You can build and publish before those are done — you just can't take payment until both are complete.
A few notes
- Already a viewer on Zayvay? Apply with the same email. When you accept the invite, we upgrade your existing account to a creator account — you won't end up with two.
- Under 18? A parent sets up the account. See Junior creators.
- Didn't hear back yet? Applications are reviewed in batches. If it's a fit, the invite lands in your inbox — keep an eye on it.
