Targeting on Zayvay is built from what viewers explicitly chose to share. There's no inferred behavior, no cross-site tracking, no "lookalike" audiences.
You target on six axes:
- Region — country, state or region, sometimes city.
- Viewer tier — Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Onyx.
- Demographics — age, gender, household, income, and other fields the viewer consented to share.
- Creator category — which kinds of creators your Nasq appears next to.
- Viewer interest — the topics viewers chose for themselves when they joined.
- Explicit exclusion — whether your Nasq can appear next to content marked explicit.
Two of these — creator category and viewer interest — are soft by default. A match makes your Nasq worth more, so it wins that placement more often and you pay the higher rate; a non-match still competes at the base rate. You get the tilt without starving your delivery. If you need a hard cutoff on either, an exclusive toggle turns it into a strict filter for a premium — see interest targeting. Region, tier, and demographics are hard filters: set them and non-matching viewers are simply out of the pool.
Set each in the campaign wizard. A live audience estimate shows how many eligible viewers still match as you narrow, and the completion forecast updates alongside it.
What you can't target:
- Specific creators by name. See Why you can't target creators by name.
- Individual viewers.
- Inferred interests based on browsing.
- Visitors to your own website (no retargeting).
This isn't a feature gap; it's an intentional position. Zayvay's pitch is that ad targeting and viewer consent are the same conversation. Anything we target on, the viewer said yes to.
